Did you ever have an operation? I have. One was on my thumb. What happened was when I was about 4 years old, my thumb got stuck bent. It was very hard to put mittens and gloves on! So anyway, I went to a hospital to have an operation to put my thumb back to normal. After the operation, I had to wear a cast for a few weeks, then go back to the hospital to have the cast cut off. I still have a scar from the operation. There was another one. It was when I was born.
This is for people who like to jumprope(Although other people can read it too). Here are all the jumprope chants I know for you jumpropers to use!
Cinderella
Cinderella dressed in yellow
went upstairs to kiss a fellow
by mistake she kissed a snake
how many doctors did it take?
(Then count how many jumps you can do)

Teddy Bear
Teddy Bear, teddy bear
turn around.
teddy bear, teddy bear,
touch the ground.
Teddy bear, teddy bear
go upstairs.
teddy bear, teddy bear
Say your prayers.
teddy bear, teddy bear
spell your name.
teddy bear, teddy bear
show your shoe.
teddy bear, teddy bear
that will do.

Bubblegum

Bubblgum, bubblegum
in a dish.
How many pieces do you wish?
(Then count how many jumps you can do)

Little Dutch Girl

I am a pretty little dutch girl,
As pretty as I can be,
And all the boys in the neighborhood
Go crazy over me!

My boyfriend's name is Mello,
he comes from the land of Jello,
He has pickles for his toes,
And a cherry for his nose,
And that's the way my story goes!

The Ghost of Walden Pond (a story)

saturday, april 2, 2005 at 7:47:21 PM

One September night, Palmer’s father asked, “Would you like to visit Walden Pond? You’re old enough now.”

Palmer gasped. Walden Pond had a scary story. A boy and his father were camping near the pond one night when the boy heard some moaning. He woke his father and they unzipped the door to the tent. A black figure was rising out of Walden Pond! The figure floated toward them. When the figure grabbed the boy and his father, its hand felt cold and sticky. It dragged them into the pond, and they were never seen again.

Palmer shivered. “Alright, we’ll go Walden Pond.” he said, and they were off. When they arrived, the moonlight was shining on the water. They set up a blanket on the sand and lay back on it. Soon, they went to sleep.

Later on, Palmer heard moaning. He sat up. He walked toward the pond. The only sounds were the moaning and his footsteps. Everything was still in the black water. He waded into the pond. Something grabbed his ankle! It pulled poor Palmer underwater! The water was freezing! He struggled and pulled to get out. His lungs were bursting. Finally, he got out of the thing’s grip and ran out of the pond. The thing followed him! He woke his father. “We have to leave now!” he yelled. They got in the car and Palmer told his father the story on the way home.

When they got back they flew inside the house and locked the door. “Phew!” Palmer said. From then on, they stayed well away from Walden Pond!
