I noticed that when you see or hear something it stays in your mind for a few seconds before it sinks in, or it doesn't sink in at all. I think that happens when you are thinking really hard about something else, in your own little world.

![]() I've been thinking. Most kids don't like homework. I kind of enjoy it! I like writing things with pencils and erasing them again with erasers. It makes me know that I'm learning, and it's fun! Homework is something that keeps you from sitting around all day and watching TV. It gets kids who don't read to read! People are right, there really aren't any benifits gotten from getting homework or not, but I think it is another thing for me to do when I am bored.
![]() Sponges are a strange concept. OK, they soak up liquids. But what does "soak" mean, exactly? The sponge doesn't get any bigger when it soaks up liquid, it just gets heavier! Where does it all go? Same with sea sponges. Yeah, they hold little sea animals and algae and whatever, but where do all the little things go? They can't just disappear into thin air(or, in the case of sea sponges, water).
